Additional Games, Demos, and Proof of Concepts
Wanted to post this somewhere so it makes sense to post it here. I do have an itch.io site that has a large collection of games (all downloadable or playable in your browser). You might notice if you clicked on the “Download” button on any of the downloadable games that it takes you to that page to actually download the game (that’s a lot of use of the word “download” in one sentence). I guess I could host them on this site, but I’ve been uploading game jam games to itch so why not?
In any case that site has not only games but also things that I won’t be posting here like demos, ideas gone bad, and proof of concept games. Stuff that may (or may not) ever make it into a real game when it grows up. For example I do have a Backrooms “game” posted there, but it’s really a proof of concept. A single level with no monsters, no exit, no menu, and the ability to wander around and do nothing. Maybe it’ll become a game some day, but given there are 812,749 backrooms game on Steam right now (approximately) I doubt it.
So drop by there to see the new stuff being posted. Consider it the lab, the proving grounds, the dark place, whatever. It’s where stuff goes to grow and maybe end up here one day. Check it out here and keep up to date on what’s cooking.
