ObjectViewer

Introduction

ObjectViewer is a simple viewing utility to view object files. Similar to SimExplorer, it lets you browse all object files in the game, from various angles and optionally export the images to standard graphic file formats.

Documentation

There’s really no instructions needed. Just install and run. ObjectViewer will automatically locate your Sims directory, scan for all possible objects and display them in the list for you.

The rotation control lets you view the object from various angles. Just click on it and drag to alter the angle. The angle is displayed in the center of the control and the display is updated automatically.

Click on the Background button to display a color picker. Here you can change the background color you want the program to use. This is handy if you want to export the preview for a web page and want to match up the background color with the color of your website.

The Export button lets you export the preview to a standard graphic format. The following formats are supported:

JPEG – JFIF Compliant (*.jpg)
Zsoft Paintbrush (*.pcx)
Portable Network Graphics (*.png)
Truevision Targa (*.tga)
Tagged Image File Format (*.tga)
